17 – Lake Forest – Full Home Remodel
This Orange County home in Lake Forest remodeled their kitchen, staircase, living room, family room, guest bathroom, and master bathroom. The kitchen allows plenty of natural light to come through the garden window and the custom cabinets maximize the storage space. The kitchen uses a downdraft hood that hides down behind the stove top when it’s not in use. Travertine flooring is used throughout the kitchen space. A wall was removed to create an open floor plan in the kitchen and to expand the space to create additional cabinet space. Deep drawers are specially designed to support the weight of large pots and pans while offering a smooth glide and sound drawers. The family room and living room both incorporate a stacked stone fireplace with a dark wood mantle. The first floor has a custom designed wine rack and cabinetry in a dark stained finish. The guest bathroom features a geometric tile design as well as dark cabinetry to match the millwork around the home. The master bathroom had their old walk in shower replaced with a grand stone tile walk in shower with duel sinks with center storage. The bathroom incorporates new windows to allow for more natural light into the space. The bathroom flooring also incorporates a geometric pattern in the tile to tie in together the stone tile in the walk in shower.
